Mike Dea is the President of Brownhelm Capital, LLC. Mr. Dea draws from over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has held multiple leadership positions at a number of banking institutions, most notably at Key Bank, where he was Commercial Real Estate Group Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer of the Corporate and Investment Banking Group, and Senior Vice President of Corporate and Investment Banking.
Mr. Dea is a non practicing CPA and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and an MBA from Kent State University.
Max Weber is the Director of Investment Strategy for Brownhelm Capital, LLC. Prior to Brownhelm, Mr. Weber was an Investment Professional at The Riverside Company, a global private equity firm with over 9 billion of assets under management. While at Riverside, he was focused on leveraged buyout and growth equity investments across a number of new economy industries.
Before joining Riverside, Mr. Weber was an associate at Kirtland Capital Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm, where his responsibilities included deal sourcing, investment execution, and portfolio management. He began his career in investment banking at KeyBanc Capital Markets.
Mr. Weber graduated cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He currently serves as a Board Advisor to EntryPoint Capital and Equity Advisor Solutions. Within the community, he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lorain County.
Stephanie Guilfoyle is the Controller of Brownhelm Capital, LLC. After graduating from Indiana University with a BS in Accounting, Ms. Guilfoyle has held a number of accounting roles with increasing responsibility, including positions with both the Ernst & Young’s Cleveland and National offices. Her audit clients while at EY included a number of large corporate clients, as well as several years in systems audit.
Ms. Guilfoyle brings a wealth of accounting and systems integration knowledge to the role of Controller. Additionally she adds a global perspective, having lived overseas for several years.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Michael Leone is a Financial Analyst at Brownhelm Capital. Prior to joining Brownhelm, Mr. Leone worked as a financial analyst across a broad array of industries.
During Mr. Leone’s career, he has developed skills in systems integration, financial reporting, and modeling. He graduated with a bachelors in business administration with a concentration in finance.
Outside of the office he enjoys spending his time with his family and 3 dogs.
Kelly Gundrum is an Executive Administrative Assistant at Brownhelm Capital, LLC. Ms. Gundrum is a seasoned Executive Assistant with over a decade of experience in the field, spanning both financial services and corporate clients.
Prior to joining Brownhelm, Ms. Gundrum was an Executive Assistant at ABR Investment Strategy, a leading independent investment advisory firm focusing on growth companies.
When she isn’t working, she loves spending quality time with her husband and their two children.
Kathy Horvath is an Executive Administrative Assistant for Brownhelm Capital, LLC. She brings over 30 years of administrative experience to the table with expertise in database management, scheduling, financial processing and calendar management.
For 15 years, Ms. Horvath held several assistant roles at Sodexo, a world-wide company providing on-site services encompassing food and facilities management. Prior to this, she spent 12 years at Republic Technologies International in both assistant and cost accounting roles.
Ms. Horvath has an Associates Degree in Applied Business, majoring in Accounting.
